Tom Foster Brings 20
Years of Executive Management, Sales and Marketing Experience
to Provider of Next Generation Networking Solutions

Velocity, Inc., a next generation networking company providing
security solutions around deep packet inspection of data
flows at gigabit speeds, today announced the hiring of
Tom Foster to the position of Vice President of Sales focusing
on commercial markets, partnerships and channel.

Tom Foster brings extensive
leadership experience to Global Velocity. Most recently
Mr. Foster served as Avanade South Region General Manager
and Americas Area Growth and Strategy Director. While
there he led the successful start-up of Avanade’s South
Region business unit covering 13 states. Prior to Avanade,
Mr. Foster served in numerous sales and business unit management
roles with G. A. Sullivan and Daugherty Systems. And,
while a Manager at Arthur Andersen, he served as Product
Manager for a new software application suite used by Andersen
Global 1000 clients. Mr. Foster holds a dual Bachelor’s
degree in Management Information Systems and Accounting from
the University of South Florida.
