The GVS2000 - Global Velocity’s Content Control appliance - introduces an innovative approach to content monitoring and filtering. This patent pending approach allows the use of an industry standard appliance featuring an extremely powerful programmable logic device to capture packets, reassemble packets into entire flows and execute application classification and control - all within hardware.

The GVS2000 then sends only cleanly assembled TCP streams to software to do document normalization, identification and policy enforcement. This provides an unprecedented level of accuracy and throughput capability. Hardware provides the raw power required to do stack processing and software provides the ability to deeply scan content and execute policies.
